My classes are a mix of various restorative yoga and yoga therapy styles like Kashmir and Reflex Yoga, Satyananda Yoga and Womb Yoga as well as the Japanese movement therapy Sotai Ho.
Sotai Ho is a form of movement therapy that works on the natural re-alignment of the body by moving joints and muscles in a comfortable direction away from the pain. To deepen the release of tension and pain and to correct imbalances and twisted muscular holding patterns specific exercises are practised with the breath.
Reflex Yoga focuses on the body-brain nerological, pysical and emotional connections and aims to restore balance and ease by using rhyhmical movements which help to integrate reflex patterns that otherwise can lead to physical as well as mental problems.
With a re-aligned and balanced body we then move into yoga asanas, pranayama (breath work) and relaxation.
My classes aim to connect you with your inner knowledge and intuition, learning how to listen to our body's, mind's and soul's needs.
